Mileage will be charged at a rate of 45p per mile or the standard rate train fare or a combination of the two covering travel to the mainline train station plus car parking and train fare. Mileage will be calculated using the fastest option.

Accommodation will not normally be necessary when the training venue is less than a 2 hour journey from the trainer’s location. If accommodation is necessary this will be a budget hotel. Accommodation will also include breakfast and evening meal.

If you notify us in writing (via email or letter) up to 28 days before the date of the training, you will receive a full refund. If you withdraw within the 28 day period the full fee will remain payable. We will accept substitute attendees. Names and details of substitutions should be received by us in writing at least 48 hours prior to the date of training.

If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked without giving prior notice we will be unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.

Where exceptional circumstances dictate, we reserve the right to alter published programmes, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.

Our training is devised specifically for parents and those who are supporting, representing or advising parents. It is not appropriate for those such as local authority staff who may be responding to the rights of a parent or young person. Please ensure that those attending the course are not local authority staff such as SEND team officers or Social Care teams unless we have agreed to their attendance prior to the event or the training has been commissioned from our range of training packages specifically created for local authorities.
